Wednesday's Wonders--Health

We've been battling the galloping crud around here this week. It felled one daughter, then the son, then me and another daughter, and finally the hubby. It's been a real germapalooza. We're finally coming out of it, and it makes me thankful for many things: indoor plumbing, a microwave, extra soft tissues, takeout, an insanely comfortable bed with fresh sheets--to name just a few. But most of all, I'm thankful for my health that is returning.

There is nothing like sickness to remind us how much we appreciate health. So, on this day of returning to the ranks of the hale and hearty, I celebrate health. It is a wonder.

Glad to hear you all are on the mend!

I'll take being sick any day over the kids!

Glad to hear you're feeling better. I had a bout of something at the end of February that I hope to never have again in my life. Yes, I second that, let's be thankful for our health and strength.

It's going around up here in my end too. Luckily it won't catch us until next week when she's out of school. I hate for her to miss it. I'm glad you're feeling better.

Yep. If you don't have your health, you don't have anything!

Oh yikes -- having the whole family sick is the worse. I'm glad to hear you're on the mend.

I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. There is nothing worse than a sick family when you are sick, too.

Exactly what you said. The only good thing about feeling sick is how much you appreciate feeling better.

Hope you continue on the mend.

Thanks for all your well wishing. I was a little premature on the hubby's diagnosis. He's down. At least I'm up to take care of him.

I so agree. Every time I get sick and it gets that harder to even just move around, I think about how much I take health for granted! Glad most of you are on the mend! I have an award for you at my blog :)

I know how you feel. I was sick a week ago and I'm just barely feeling better. Funny thing is that my kids never seem to get sick, both me and my husband do, but not the kids. Weird.

I know what you mean. I am quite lucky as I rarely get sick, but when I do, man, I am down and out and so appreciative when the plague lifts.

Horay for health!

I'm glad you're doing better! Maybe it will be warm enough in the Carolinas this weekend to open the windows and let those germs out. I hope so!
